Lunchtime concert at Heath Street Baptist Church

Musical Alchemy

Alchemy is the ultimate metamorphosis: a transformation of base metal into gold. In musical terms, some of the most seismic transformations across all genres of both compositions and improvisations have been built on repeating bass lines. In this concert Improviso presents a programme inspired by concepts of repetition, transformation, and shape-shifting.
